H 1.0

All what you to see and read on this page, only my look on History Liverpool F.C. kits in 1910s - 1920s years. May be I mistake.

  1913-14 Home players shirt

  Manufacturer:

  Years worn: 1909-19

In this home shirt Liverpool first played in

In left  -  1913-14 Home player shirt long sleeve (may be with season 1914-15)  -  not now good image

In left  -  1913-14 Home player shirt long sleeve (may be with season 1921-22)  -  not now good image

In general difficultly in detail to write about these years Liverpool, but I shall return to this stage of their history and I shall write more in detail. May be all not as, how I has written.

In a season 1909-19 the design home shirt has changed. Liverpool used home shirt ten seasons, 1909-10 to 1918-19 (time of use home shirt is probably inexact). Liverpool used home shirt how in home, as and in more away matches. In season 1913-14, Liverpool may be used with home shirt different kits:
  Home shorts and home socks
  Home shorts and away socks
  Away shorts and home socks
  Away shorts and away socks

H 1.0 - Home shirt with home shorts & home or away socks (which I assume now).
H 1.1 - Home shirt with home shorts & home socks.

  * * - Unknown me now which kits used in this matches.

Used Liverpool with sesson 1911-12 to 1919-20 white shirts, I not know. On this moment I not have not one photos, if you have information, write to me.

In season 1913-14, Liverpool used home shirt without special embroidery, this was in netral match FA Cup Final , 25.04.1914.

In 1891 the Football League required member clubs to register their colours for the first time and no two teams were allowed to wear similar shirts. The following year, when the Second Division was formed this rule was relaxed but home teams were now required to have a spare set of white shirts, which could be used if colours clashed.   I think what in life all was other. Now I have some photos (below 1st image) with in away match Division One versus Aston Villa (06.12.1913), Liverpool played in away shirt. Else one in neutral matches FA Cup Semi-Final versus Aston Villa (28.03.1914) and FA Cup Final versus Burnley (25.04.1914), Liverpool, how Aston Villa and Burnley played in home shirt.
Have also other photo (below 2nd image) with in away match Division One versus Middlesbrough (18.04.1914 or 20.03.1915), Liverpool played in away shirt. Which shirt home or away Liverpool played in season 1913-14, in matches versus Arsenal Woolwich, Bristol City, Middlesbrough, Nottingham Forest I not know now. May be rules Football League also not worker in matches with this team. Step by step we know more of history Liverpool F C and will small white holes.

2nd image, Aston Villa gave Campbell, the Liverpool custodian, plenty to do on Saturday.

2nd image, In addition to Lish, the LFC player (in striped shirt) is Sam Speakman. The Middlesbrough player is Walter Tinsley.

Left image, lace collar used in season 1909-10. .Right image, this of course not Liverpool shirt, this rare Arsenal shirt with FA Cup Final 1927 (I without Arsenal emblem with shirt). Why to do this shirt, simple what you know as the shirt of those times really looks. Besides, most likely (proofs are not present), Liverpool used shirts made by firm "Bukta", dominating at that time.

This of course not Liverpool shirt, this rare Arsenal shirt with FA Cup Final 1927 (I out Arsenal emblem with shirt). Why to do this shirt, simple what you know as the shirt of those times really looks. Besides, most likely (proofs are not present), Liverpool used shirts made by firm " Bukta ", dominating at that time.

Lace collar used in seasons 1919-31, of white lining inside the laced collar.

I think for all 10th season when Liverpool used this design home shirt, this home shirt made with some echanges (on a collar and thickness of a fabric).
