In a season 2010-11 the design home shirt has changed. Liverpool used home shirt two seasons, 2010-11 & 2011-12. Liverpool used home shirt how in all home, as and in more away matches.

In this moment I know what Liverpool F.C. players Main, Reserves and Youth teams used 6 variants home shirts (in left side page). How you to see, different how in design name player and player numbers (4 variants) and without name player, as with and without patches (2 variants). Also was used home shirt with special embroidery (1).

In season 2010-11, Liverpool used home shirt with special embroidery, for match Testimonial Jamie Carragher.

With this season 2010-11 on shirt new club sponsor, Standart Chartered, deal with Standart Chartered Bank on 3 years J30,000,000. End long deal with Carlsberg. Deal with company Carlsberg was with 1992 to 2010.

Official company logo and company logo in home shirt.

The new home shirt design is an exact retrospect of our 1989-1991 away kit. This away player shirt season 1989-90.
Interesting fact. In away FA Cup match versus Manchester United (09.01.2011), Liverpool used shirts with family name player and player number № 3 (without Liverbird in the bottom of number player). Usually in FA Cup matches used shirt with family name player and player number № 1 (with emblem Barclays Premier League in player number).

Interesting fact. This funny moment was in away Europa League match (21.10.2010) versus Napoli (Italy). After start second half, on two Liverpool players was dress shirts with number 34. 2nd image, Martin Kelly in right shirt. 1st image, on David N'Gog was dress dhirt Martin Kelly. On 59', 4th official referee Guido Winkmann, give to David N'Gog shirt with number 24 (3rd image). Why as was, mistake, kitman or other.

  December 2008 - INITIAL SKETCHES

The first match wear sketches are received from the Global product creation team. Feedback is given by the adidas UK product team.

  January 2009 - FINAL SKETCHES

Revised sketches are received and adidas arrange the initial sketch/concept presentation with the club. Once approval is received from the club, they progress to the first sample stage.

Liverpool released the new home kit on 8 April 2010. On 11 April 2010, Liverpool's offcial website (www.liverpoolfc.tv) published an article called "New Kit Inspiration" in the Latest News section. As shown in the page, the curator's photo of Liverpool 1989-1991 away strip was used to aid the sketching process.

I do not know how to distinguish a home shirt of a season 2010-11 from a home shirt of a season 2011-12.

Attention! If you wish to buy a player shirt Liverpool on the Internet auction, be close. Be careful of a fake or purchases of a player shirt a semifinished item. The semifinished item is when on a game shirt add stripes (Premier League or other tournaments), a logo Carlsberg or Standart Chartered, a surname and number of the player. It concerns shirt not only last decade, but also 80 and 90 years. If you cannot distinguish a player shirt from a replica or a semifinished item, consult to Michael Yip (www.liverpoolkits.com).
