In this home shirt Liverpool first played in ...
In a season 1934-35 the design home shirt has changed. Liverpool used home shirt
eight seasons, 1934-35 to 1939-40, 1943-44, 1947-48 & 1947-49 (time of use home shirt
is probably inexact). Liverpool used home shirt how in all home, as and in more away
matches.
H 1.0 - Home shirt with home shorts & home socks
My pages about history of Liverpool shirts in 40th years,
most likely, contain mistakes in dating use of a home kits. Why it is difficult, not so it
is a lot of photos (at me) these years and very little where there is a date when the
photo is made. It concerns also a photo of a Liverpool team.

I not have any
Liverpool FC photos with season 1943-44. Wish remember what this Second world war time. I
to find on site (www.playupliverpool.com) sketch with home match Liverpool-Manchester City
(28.08.1943), in left fragment sketch, Jack Balmer.
On this sketch have interesting moment, on Jack Balmer
dressing shorts with a thin strip on the side. Was as in this match or this simple the
notion of the artist. I think what mistake artist. may be I not right. |
Difficult understan, when in war time Liverpool get kits, old
reserve kits or other features. Wish remember what in war time in Great Britain was cards
sistem (on food, clothing and other).
I not know was in season 1943-44 on shirts field players, stitched player number.
With season 1934-35 change design home shirt, was used red
turn-down collar with two white buttons. May be with season 1939-40, on autumn-spring
variant home shirt, collar to have again of white lining inside the turn-down collar and
with one with button.

In this away shirt Liverpool first played in ...
In a season 1936-37 the design away shirt has changed. Liverpool used away shirt

My pages about history of Liverpool shirts in 40th years,

is a lot of photos (at me) these years and very little where there is a date when the

I think for all 17th season when Liverpool used this design away shirt, this away
shirt made with some echanges (on a collar and thickness of a fabric), how andcompany
manufacturer.
Front second away player shirt with red turn-down collar, may
be used in seasons 1938-39 to 1957-58 (right image).
Difficult understan, when in war time Liverpool get kits, old
reserve kits or other features. Wish remember what in war time in Great Britain was cards
sistem (on food, clothing and other).
Down we can to see matches list when used away kits was. In section A 1.0 / H 1.0 have teams how: Blackpool, Stoke City, Sunderland and
Wolverhampton Wanderers. Why this team here, as how I not have photos or information with
this match. In some seasons, Liverpool played in away matches with these teams in home
kits.
I think for all 14th season when Liverpool used this design away shirt, this away
shirt made with some echanges (on a collar and thickness of a fabric).
Note that Liverpool F.C. did not release any replicas shirts
prior to season 1978-1979.
