shirt, and as other features of a player shirt

On home replica shirt season 2002-04 have plastic logo
"PHYDROMOVE+". To see different in bottom, in player shirt this logo, not.
A hydromove tag is present only on the replica shirt (left)
but not the player shirt (right).
When compared directly, we can see the player shirt (bottom)
has a much bigger Carlsberg sponsor than the replica shirt (top). |

plastic logo "HYDROMOVE". To see different in left, in player shirt this logo,
not. Left image, plastic logo "HYDROMOVE" on goalkeeper replica shirt, it is
located hardly below a collar in back side shirt.
As usual, Liverpool players shirts used in the domestic
competition has much bigger Carlsberg logo. When I place a replica shirt (above) in line
with the players shirt (below), the size difference of Carlsberg is very huge indeed.
When the replica (upper portion) is compared with the player
shirt (bottom portion) individually, you may not recognize the difference in size in the
Carlsberg sponsor. |

Red label with Liverbird on cuff (in grey ring) only on Euro
shirt with short sleeves.
Liverpool wore this shirt in both Europe competitions and the Premier League so
there are two variations of the player shirt. The European shirt has a Carlsberg logo the
same size as the replicas shirts, but those shirts issued for use in the Premier League
possessed a much larger Carlsberg logo, roughly 27.5cm wide. A match worn shirt can be
identified by NO hydromove logo on the right sleeve, and NO neck label transfer on the
neck. Replicas all had a white box stating the shirt size in the back of the shirt.
How to distinguish a euro shirt of a season 2001-02, from a euro shirt of a season
2002-03, very difficultly, not only on a label under a collar, but and other details (to
see and read below).
Left to right:
1st image, in a season 2001-02, on euro player shirts under a collar there is no label
with a size. 2nd image, in a season 2002-03 label with a size is on euro player shirt .3nd
image, in a seasons 2001-02 & 2002-03, on euro replica shirts under a collar there is
size label.
On away, euro & third replica shirt season 2001-03 have
plastic logo "HYDROMOVE". To see different in left, in player shirt this logo,
not. Left image, plastic logo "HYDROMOVE" on goalkeeper replica shirt, it is
located hardly below a collar in back side shirt.
Left: For season 2001-02 Champions League replica and players
shirts, the Reebok logo is embroidered into the shirt.
Right: For season 2002-03, both the Champions League players shirts and the UEFA
Cup players shirts, inclusive of this non-sponsored shirt, the Reebok logo is embossed
instead.
Left: From the inner side, we see the 2001-02 season players
shirt has embroidered Reebok.
Right: From the inner side, we see that the 2002-03 season players shirt has
embossed Reebok. |
