Difference between a player shirt and a replica
shirt, and as other features of a player shirt
Some text in down and photographies take with site: www.liverpoolkits.com.
On a shirt, below at the left a unprofitable word
"FORMOTION" from plastic, only on player shirt. On replica shirt on tn his plase
"CLIMACOOL" and other side shirt logo "Adidas".
In left and right family name player and number use on
Liverpool shirt for matchs Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup (in season 2006-07 - in
left and 2007-08 - in middle).
From the inner side of the replica, you can see the uncovered
sewn-on club crest and adidas motif.
From the inner side of the player shirt, the sewn-on club
crest and adidas motif are covered by a thin layer of protective semi-transparent
velveeteen.
The purpose is to prevent rubbing of players'
body if they don't wear a tee beneath the soccer shirt.
The so-called "formotion" is a texture-breakthrough
called "seamless design" (just like Nike shirts from 2005-06 era). Upon a
comparison, you can see replica shirt (left) has no air-tex spores on the upper-bound of
the slanted inner-front shoulder diagonal. For the player shirt (right), you can see that
air-tex spores are present.
Upon a closer look, we can see there are no signs of
"seamless design" on the replica (left). Seamless means the joints are not
stitched up but instead glued
up.
If you compare with the player shirt (right),
you can roughly see shadowed-shinny portion along the joints - not stitched by threads but
in fact glued up by glue.
This is what Adidas call "seamless
design".
The 2007-2008 home player shirt retains all the seamless
formotion features of the 2006-2007 ones. The major difference is the size of the
Carlsberg sponsor becomes bigger again.
The lower half shows the Carlsberg of the Jermaine Pennant Player Shirt.
On player shirt other design shirt labels (which is on a
lateral seam).
Fake Alert! Hong Kong based DIY "Big
Carlsberg" added on plain stocks!
Be cautious when surfing through the internet auctions and
meeting with Hong Kong sellers' so-called "player issued" shirts with the Big
Carlsberg or Small Carlsberg.
They are not officially the same thing as the genuine player
shirts. In fact, what is cunningly done here is that they bought some plain non-sponsored
stocks from ebay, and then make use of some computer CAD programs to cut-out the
guesstimated "bigger" Carlsberg transfer sponsor, as well as the
"small" Carlsberg.
No matter in texture, actual details / dimension, actual
positioning measurements of such counterfeit are pathetic. (Of course they thought they
did a great job which no one can tell the counterfeits from the genuine, but this is not
the case when you held two shirts side by side)
Whenever you look for a genuine Liverpool
"big-Carlsberg" player shirt, always avoid the Hong Kong sellers.

Liverpool was once sponsored by
Adidas from 1985 to 1996. Starting from season 2006-2007 onwards, Liverpool has signed a
sponsorship contract with Adidas again, and this is the first home player shirt under the
"New Adidas" era.
In left you can to see some variants fake shirt. This FC Liverpool home (in down)
shirt was sold on the Internet auction "Ebay" in May, 2006.
LFC kits on eBay
are fake
NEW Liverpool strips have appeared for sale on eBay - two months before they are
released.
But angry club officials today said the shirts were fakes and urged fans not to get
ripped off.
A spokesman for strip manufacturer Adidas said he would be consulting the firm's
legal team about the internet posts from Thailand-based dealers.
They claim to have the official 2006/07 home and away shirts and are offering them
to the highest bidders.
The real strips will not be launched in this country until August.
There are also posts featuring a black and white shirt, with five stars underneath
the club badge to represent their European Cup wins, on sale from the same Thai dealer.
The dealer also claimed the shirts had authentic manufacturer tags.
Adidas spokesman said: "These shirts are fake and the real shirts will not be
available anywhere until August.
"I can't say too much about the new kit, except to promise fans they will be
three exceptional strips.
"We'll be talking to our lawyers about the eBay posts."
Possible designs for the new strip have sparked rumour and debate on
An internet forums since it was announced Liverpool were changing supplier.
Reds season ticket holder Phil Smart, 27, from Fairfield said: "I really like
the home shirt design on eBay. It's understated and European looking. It reminds me a bit
of the Bayern Munich top.
"We won't know what the real kits look like until the official launch before
the season but I'd happy if they are like these."
Earlier this year Liverpool issued formal court proceedings against its former kit
supplier Reebok after failing to reach an agreement on outstanding payments.
A solicitor acting for Liverpool FC and Athletic Grounds plc filed a writ in the
Queen's Bench Division against the firm after a ВЈ7m production delay dispute over the
team's Champions League kit.
An Ebay spokes woman said: "Along with Adidas, we are members of a scheme to
protect brand owners, so if firms spot fakes they can tell us and we will take them off
the site straight away."
