Reds to don poppy shirts
11th Nov 2010
Liverpool will wear black jerseys with embroidered poppies against Stoke City on
Saturday before signing and donating them to the Royal British Legion.
The entire squad will autograph the shirts to help raise money for a charity which
supports British troops and veterans of the armed forces.
All this comes after a stadium collection prior to our win over Chelsea, during
which RBL flag bearer Brian Fearn led two RAF cadets - Dan Smith and Charlotte Delaney -
from Liverpool University on to the pitch carrying a large poppy.
Liverpool also donated perimeter board advertising and a piece In the matchday
programme to RBL.

autographed by Sotirios Kyrgiakos.
