In a season 1968-69 the design away shirt has changed. Liverpool used away shirt
eight seasons, 1968-69 to 1975-76 (time of use shirt is probably inexact). In season
1969-70, Liverpool used with away shirt different kits:
Away shorts and away socks
Away shorts and home socks
Second away shorts and away socks
A 1.0 - Away shirt with away shorts & away socks.
A 1.1 - Away shirt with away shorts & home socks.
A 1.2 - Away shirt with second away shorts & away
socks.
* 1.- * - Unknown me now which kits used in this
matches.
May be in this season Liverpool used in away match white shorts and red socks.
In photo in left side page, away shirt with site www.oldfootballshirts.com. I think
what not fake shirt. In below label with this away shirt . In label write "World Cup
choice Mexico 1970". This shirt may be made for seasons 1968-69, may be I mistake.
In different collection have away shirt with seasons, 1968-69 to 1975-76, on some
away shirt have differents various design of Umbro labels under a collar.
These Umbro labels under a collar which was on Liverpool
shirts in seasons with 1968-69 to 1975-76. How I think, may be I mistake. Left to right:
1st image, in 1968-70. 2nd image, in 1970-71. 3rd image, unknown. 4th image, in 1972-74.
5th image, in 1974-76.
These Umbro logos which was used on Liverpool away shirts.
Left to right: 1st image, Umbro logo used in seasons 1973-74 & 1974-75. 2nd image,
Umbro logo used in season 1975-76.
How to distinguish a home shirt of a season 1968-69, from a home shirt of a season
1975-76, very difficultly. Certainly, were for this time of change in design of a collar
and cuffs, UMBRO labels and certainly since a season 1972-73 it is various design of logo
UMBRO.
Away shirt with away shorts & away socks was used in matches, which I know now:
