On home shirt season 1914-15, used volumetric fabric with figure LFC. |
Revealed: LFC's new 2014-15 home kit
10th Apr 2014
Liverpool Football Club today revealed their brand new Warrior home kit for the
2014-15 season.
The 2014-15 strip has been produced using War-Tech, Warrior's signature apparel
technology system, with benefits of the fabric including a highly breathable shirt as well
as moisture-wicking to keep players dry.
Other new features incorporated by the club's official kit supplier, Warrior,
include a geometric LFC jacquard weave and a collar design that allows freedom of movement
and comfort.
The strip takes inspiration from the successful Reds era of the 1960s, a period
when Bill Shankly switched the team's colours to all-red and guided to the club to league
and FA Cup glory.
Roger Hunt, a prolific member of the Scot's all-conquering side, hailed the new
design as it ensures that the players resemble 'giants'.
The man who scored 286 goals for Liverpool commented: "I played for Liverpool
for over a decade and I remember the first time Shankly got the team in the all-red strip.
"It's great to see that 50 years on, Liverpool are still looking like giants
in their all-red strip."
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers added: "The 1960s was such a defining era for this
club - Roger Hunt, Ian St John, Ron Yeats - the list of Liverpool legends that played
under Shankly goes on and on.
"For the players to wear a shirt that has taken inspiration from such a
successful period for the club can act as a reminder that they can bring those glory years
back to Liverpool Football Club."
The brand new 2014-15 home kit will be on sale from May 9, 2014; plus, pre-order
now and get a free and exclusive LFC towel (whilst stocks last and excluding baby and mini
kits).

But shook can will, if in this match to go on field how

In away match Premier League, Hull City-Liverpool (28.04.2015), his to go
on field on substitute 65 minute, on Rickie also shirt without patches BPL, (left photo),
again mistake and this not funny.
Else one, in five last matches Hull City at Kingston
Communications Stadium, three Premier League matches (25.04.2009 image 1, 09.05.2010 image
2, 28.04.2015 image 5) in home kits. One Friendly match (23.07.2011 image 3) in third
kits. One Premier League match (01.12.2013 image 4) in away kits.
Why we used third kits in Friendly match (23.07.2011) I understand, this was show
one of our new kits for season 2011-12. But why we used away kits in match last season
(01.12.2013) I not know. We have white shorts, but we played in black shorts, how and Hull
City team. |
Interesting fact Mario Balotelli
to be fined for swapping shirts at half-time in Liverpool's defeat to Real Madrid.
"It’s not something that I stand for," said
manager Brendan Rodgers, who promised that he would deal with the situation Mario
Balotelli will be fined after his “disgraceful” half-time shirt swap.
One year ago (29.12.2013) Liverpool has fined Mamadou Sakho
and Philippe Coutinho that they in a match break have exchanged shirts with players of
Chelsea of Samuel Eto'o and Oscar accordingly.

Reds to show respect with poppy shirts
3rd Nov 2014
Liverpool players will wear special shirts embroidered with poppies when they host
Chelsea at Anfield in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday November 8.
As part of plans to commemorate Remembrance weekend and the centenary of World War
One, the Reds will also sign their jerseys and donate them to the Royal British Legion for
auction to raise valuable funds.
Last year, the shirts donated from the club's Remembrance weekend fixture against
Fulham raised more than Ј25,000 for the Poppy Appeal.
In addition to a minute of silence before kick-off, two Liverpool Pals veterans,
Joe McGowan and Brad Gilbart, led by standard bearer, Ian Mackie, will carry a large poppy
to the centre-circle, dressed in WWI regalia.
Further support for the Poppy Appeal will be given through an article published in
the matchday programme, perimeter LED board advertising and a pre-match bucket collection.
Liverpool vice-captain, Jordan Henderson, said: "It's really important that
the team and the fans have the opportunity to pay their respects together at Anfield this
weekend and remember all of those who lost their lives serving their country.
"I'd like to thank all of those involved in the armed forces, and their
families for the amazing work they do."

Four Reds train with Merseyside Blind FC
1st Feb 2015
Four Liverpool first-team stars recently joined forces with players from Merseyside
Blind FC for a special Melwood training session to raise awareness of 'Seeing is
Believing', Standard Chartered's global charitable initiative.
The campaign, driven by the Reds' main sponsor and supported by the club for the
fourth successive year, aims to tackle avoidable blindness and transform the lives of
children and adults across the world.
Ahead of an upcoming fortnight of planned activity around the initiative, a group
of Merseyside Blind FC footballers shared their unique skills with Steven Gerrard, Adam
Lallana, Simon Mignolet and Mamadou Sakho.
Overseen by the team's specialised coaches, the session at Liverpool's training
base challenged the quartet of renowned Barclays Premier League professionals to test
themselves under altogether different circumstances.
Donning blindfolds, Gerrard and co were guided in the demands of passing and
controlling the ball without sight, before attempting to successfully convert a penalty in
the same fashion.
Afterwards, the Reds captain said: "Training with the lads and coaches from
Merseyside Blind FC's squad was fantastic and made for a really enjoyable afternoon.
"They're all really talented players and it's amazing to see how they maximise
their other senses in order to perform at their best."
Roy Turnham, a Merseyside Blind FC player and Team GB participant at the 2012
Paralympic Games, said: "It was such an amazing opportunity for me and the team to
visit Melwood and get the chance to train with Gerrard, Sakho, Lallana and Mignolet. It's
something that will stay with us all for life.
"On behalf of the squad, I would like to thank Liverpool FC and Standard
Chartered for inviting us along to Melwood and hosting us for a very special afternoon to
raise awareness for such a great cause."
The training session formed part of Standard Chartered's ongoing 'Seeing is
Believing' campaign, which the bank has now been supporting for more than a decade.
There are 39 million blind people worldwide, yet in eight out of 10 cases blindness
can be avoided, and 90 per cent of avoidable blindness occurs in the developing world and
affects many communities where the organisation operates.
But through simple treatments and affordable surgeries, this initiative aims to
benefit not only those who receive care but also their families, and is one of the most
cost-effective health interventions - a cataract operation, for example, costs as little
as Ј20.
David Fein, group general counsel at Standard Chartered and the chairman of 'Seeing
is Believing', commented: "It's great to have the support of the Liverpool players
and the local community to help raise awareness of our 'Seeing is Believing' initiative.
"This is an issue which has a huge impact on many individuals' lives across
the world, which is why it remains close to people's heart, as it does ours."
For the fourth consecutive year, Liverpool will replace the Standard Chartered logo
on their shirts with 'Seeing is Believing' when Tottenham Hotspur visit Anfield on Tuesday
February 10, to again raise awareness of the campaign.
Five limited edition player jerseys from the Premier League game will subsequently
be signed and made available for supporters to bid on in a week-long eBay auction to
generate funds for the initiative.
All donations will be matched by Standard Chartered, making the fixture the
'Perfect Match' - with the club and main sponsor coming together to back an important
worldwide cause.
For more information on the 'Seeing is Believing' initiative and to make a donation

7th Jul 2014
Liverpool FC and Warrior have today revealed their brand new third kit for the
2014-15 campaign, completing the team's collection for the upcoming season.
Predominantly black, with red trim, styling and collar, the strip will be used in
domestic competitions, including the Barclays Premier League, and serve as the side's
colours for Champions League away fixtures.
Warrior, the club's official kit supplier, has combined modern design with
functionality for the latest offering, which will be worn for the first time by the
players when the Reds take on Olympiacos at Soldier Field in Chicago as part of their
summer tour on July 27.

exclusive LFC beach towel, while stocks last, and the kit will be delivered and become
available in store on July 22.

Richard Meddings, group finance director at Standard

incredibly strong support from Liverpool F C fans in the past, raising more than J100,000
through the activities around the last two 'Perfect Match' games. We are very grateful for
that support, which helps transform the lives of many individuals around the world by
either preventing or curing avoidable blindness."

Second version home goalkeeper have plastic film applied on chest with
gray-white mix Seeing is Believing logo. The question why such difference, in my opinion,
it has turned out because of haste is natural.
One more question why the trace from a film is visible? How
think Michael Yip (www.liverpoolkits.com) and I with it agree - "The texture looks
like a thin layer of glossy PU material, maybe covering the original Standard Chartered
Bank logo.".
Simple how I understand kitmans in Liverpool F.C., not to find clear home

Balotelli will be fined after his “disgraceful” half-time shirt swap.

Reds to debut new third kit on Sunday
21st May 2015
Liverpool will debut the club's brand new third kit at Sunday's Barclays Premier
League match with Stoke City in their final game of the season.
The yet-to-be-unveiled New Balance strip will be the last worn by inspirational
captain Steven Gerrard before his departure to America this summer.
Details of the design, produced by the Reds' official kit supplier, will remain a
closely-guarded secret until the reveal this weekend.
Centre-back Martin Skrtel said: "I'm sure this will be an iconic shirt as it
will be the last one worn by Steven Gerrard in his final game for the club.
"It looks and feels great and I think the fans will really like it too."
Supporters can pre-order the new third kit from 3pm BST on Sunday ahead of its
release on Thursday June 25, and will receive a free and exclusive LFC T-shirt while
stocks last.
Just click here to buy via the Official LFC Online Store or visit any official club
retail outlet.
Billy Hogan, chief commercial officer at Liverpool, commented: "We are
delighted to be launching LFC's third kit in partnership with New Balance.
"As one of the world's leading sportswear brands, I am sure that the design
will be a popular choice with our supporters."
The general manager of New Balance Football, Richard Wright, said: "The third
kit brings an opportunity to mix style with performance.
"I believe the design team has done an exemplary job in achieving this. New
Balance was built on the reputation of leading performance technology and we uphold this
for all our kit designs."

How fitting that Liverpool were decked in all black for the
occasion.
The mood was funereal as a desperate season reached a shambolic conclusion.
Not since Tottenham thrashed Bill Shankly’s team 7-2 at White Hart Lane in April
1963 have Liverpool taken this kind of hiding.
As a shell-shocked Brendan Rodgers, flanked by security, walked down the touchline
after the final whistle he looked up to applaud the 2,805 supporters in the away end. Few
bothered to return the compliment.
Anger, embarrassment and disbelief reigned in equal measure.
