BEWARE: Once again do not be fooled by those sellers who
claim that they are selling a match worn shirt because the badges are embroidered. Many

Liverbirds. A genuine player shirt should have embroidered badges, but also WORDED sizings
on the neck label.

1980-82.
According to my observations on the widely available (and
highly priced) replica shirts, the Liverbird on the replicas can either be felt embossed
or embroidered. But the UMBRO logo and letters on the replica shirts I have seen are felt
embossed. And only on a players shirt you can find it beautifully embroidered.
UMBRO logo and letters and also Liverbird on the replica
shirts I have seen are printed or felt embossed. Some time can miiting away replica shirt
with felt UMBRO logo and embroidered Liverbird. Now I not know, this shirt was for sale or
gifts.
All player shirts must have the Umbro logo and Liverbird
fully embroidered into the shirt. However, there is a mix of official replicas either with
felt-velveteen Umbro logo and Liverbird, or embroidered ones.
As usual, all UMBRO era genuine player shirts come with size
tag printed with WORDS (LARGE - size Kenny Dalglish) instead of NUMERICS.
