In this design home shirt Liverpool in played in neutral European Cup Final match
versus Borussia Monchengladbach (FRG), 3-1, 25.05.1977, at Stadio Olimpico, Rome, Italy.
Liverpool FC first team in European clubs on shirt which was special embroider for
European Cup Final match.
Was used a special one-off match embroidery in capital
letters "EUROPEAN CUP ROME 1977 LIVERPOOL F.C." on the chest of the shirt.

This design shirts some times sale on site eBay. I not know when was made this
shirts. How have some version about this dhirt.
First. Only available in very limited numbers at the time from the Jack Sharp
sports shop or the club shop. Different spec to the shirt worn in the match, but similar
badge that has been stitched on.
Not know what think. This shirt how gybrid, embroudered UMBRO
logo, but size label how on replica or commemorative shirt, special embroidery
f"EUROPEAN CUP ROME 1977 LIVERPOOL F.C" was made in other plase.

Phil Neal - Sold for J3,525 gbp.
On Friday 29th September 2000 Liverpool's most successful player ever, Phil Neal,
auctioned his collection of Memorabilia at Christies auction house, Kensington London,
Amongst his swapped shirts and medals he also auctioned his match worn shirts from some of
the major finals Liverpool had competed in during his playing time at Anfield.
The images top are of these shirts and include the price the shirts sold for on the
day, Special thanks go to Richard Coughlan for sending me a copy of the auction catalogue
which enabled me to create this page for the website.
