2005-06 Home players
shirt
Manufacturer: Reebok
Club sponsor: Carlsberg
Years worn: 2004-06
Kits staff: Kit manager: Graham Carter. Kit
man: John Wright.
In this design home shirt Liverpool first played (how second home shirt) in home
Premier League match versus Newcastle United, 1-1, 15.05.2004, at Anfield.
Replica shirt short sleeve price: J39.99 (the price is specified
in a year of made and sale of this shirt, 2004-05. I not sale what
you to see on this site, I not owner thos things)
In a end season 2003-04 the design home shirt has changed. Liverpool used home
shirt three seasons, 2003-04, 2004-05 & 2005-06. In season 2003-04, this shirt was
used how second home shirt. In season 2005-06, Liverpool used home shirt how in all home,
as and in more away matches. In season 2005-06, Liverpool used with home shirt different
kits:
Home shorts and home socks
Home shorts and second home socks
H 1.0 - Home shirt (patches BARCLAYS PREMIERSHIP
& player number № 1) with home shorts (emblem Premier League in player number) &
home socks.
H 1.1 - Home shirt (patches BARCLAYS PREMIERSHIP
& player number № 1) with home shorts (emblem Premier League in player number) &
second home socks.
H 1.4 - Home shirt (without patches & player
number № 2) with home shorts (without emblem Barclays Premier League in player number)
& home socks.
H 1.5 - Home shirt (without patches & player
number № 3) with home shorts (without player number) & home socks.
H 1.7 - For Reserves, Home shirt (without
patches & player number № 4) with home shorts (without player number) & home
socks. Used in matches Premier Reserve League.
H 1.8 - For U 18s, Home shirt (without patches
& without Carlsberg logo, & player number № 4) with home shorts (without player
number) & home socks. Used in matches Friendly Reserves, U 18s, Premier Academy League
& FA Youth Cup.
In Liverpool Youth team used shirt without a sponsor Carlsberg logo. Reserves and
Youth team not have family name players in back side shirt. Number player (start line
numbers only with 1 on 11) in Reserves and Youth teams in back shirt not how shirt 1st
team.
In all tournaments season 2005-06, Liverpool used shirt with small Carlsberg logo.
Except for 30.11.2005, when was used big Carlsberg logo on third shirt.
Champions League qualifier rounds used shirt without Champions League patch.
Champions League patch only on shirt for matches Champions League main stage.
This was not first in history club, when in
one of match end season, Liverpool used kits next season. This was how in Friendly, as in
official matches. For example, in matches:
European Cup Final, vs Juventus (Turin, Italy), 29.05.1985.
Full list to see here.
Like the away shirt from the same season, there were both genuine long and short
sleeved shirts issued to the player. The large Carlsberg version was used in the Premier
League for just one season and should have no "Playdry" logo on the right sleeve
in addition to the 27,94cm logo across the chest. Those shirts with a small Carlsberg
logo, whilst not as commonly faked as the equivalent version in the home design, are
obviously much less valuable than those with a large Carlsberg logo.away from the skin.
In season 2005-06, Liverpool used home shirt with special embroidery and patch,
this was for match FA Cup Final (13.05.2006) and home shirt with special embroidery and
patch, this was for match European Super Cup (26.08.2005).

Interesting
fact: Left image, back side Steven Gerrard in home match FA
Cup versus Manchester United (18.02.2006), on Gerrard dress shirt with usual for his
player number of a shirt, 8. Right image, back side Steven Gerrard in home match Premier
League versus Everton (25.03.2006), on Gerrard dress shirt with player number of a shirt,
08. Why as. The match started with Gerrard & Beattie wearing 08 in recognition of
Liverpool, City of Culture. Liverpool in match versus Everton, win 3-1, but Steven Gerrard
was sent off on 18' (on photo his out with field). |

Interesting fact: 16 April 2006, in away Premier League match Blackburn Rovers-Liverpool,
players two teams to go at pitch in special armband "15th APRIL 1989", in
remember about 17th years tragedy at Hillsborough. This may be was first special item
which was made and used in official match in Liverpool FC shirt. |
This last season when Liverpool played in kits made firm Reebok. In first Liverpool
deal with firm Reebok in 1996 year. With next season Liverpool will play in kits company
of the manufacturer Adidas, again. First deal with Adidas was with 1985-1996.
How to distinguish a home shirt of a season 2004-05, from a home shirt of a season
2005-06, very difficultly, only for size Carlsberg logo, in season 2005-06, Liverpool used
only shirt with small Carlsberg logo.

In a season 2005-06 the design away shirt has changed. Liverpool used away shirt
one season, 2005-06. In season 2005-06, Liverpool used with away shirt different kits:
Away shorts and away socks
Second away shorts and away socks

This last season when Liverpool played in shirt made firm Reebok. In first
Liverpool deal with firm Reebok in 1996 year. With next season Liverpool will play in kits
company of the manufacturer Adidas, again. First deal with Adidas was with 1985-1996.
In first on shirt Carlsberg logo was not rubber embossed, how
before, with this season on shirt will Carlsberg logo from a thin plastic film.
Sadly there were no material differences between the replica
shirts and match worn shirts for this style of jersey. Only small differences came to the
inner washing labels and as such, the shirt does not command a massive price tag.
Interesting in other. Last season when Adidas work with
Liverpool FC, also it is difficult to distinguish, player shirts from replica shirts in

G * * - Uncnown me now which goalkeeper kits used in
this matches.
In this moment I know what Liverpool F.C. players Main,
Reserves and Youth teams used 8 variants home goalkeeper shirts (in left side page and
down page). How you to see, different how in design name player and player numbers (4
variants) and without name player, as with and without patches (5 variants). Also was used
home shirt with special embroidery (3 variants).
This was not first in history club, when in
one of match end season, Liverpool used kits next season. This was how in Friendly, as in
official matches. For example, in matches:
European Cup Final, vs Juventus (Turin, Italy), 29.05.1985.
Full list to see here.
In seasom 2004-05, as in 2005-06 on goalkeeper shirt was used small Carlsberg logo
(not for player), in all tournaments. In matches Champions League qualifier rounds used
shirt without Champions League patch. Champions League patch only on shirt for matches
Champions League main stage.
In seasom 2004-05 used home goalkeeper shirt with long amd short sleeves. Home
goalkeeper shirt with short sleeve, like used in matches Jerzy Dudek.
In season 2005-06, Liverpool used home goalkeeper shirt with special embroidery and
patch, this was for match FA Cup Final (13.05.2006) and home goalkeeper shirt with special
embroidery and patch, this was for match European Super Cup (26.08.2005).

Again was made home goalkeeper
shirt, green color. Green color, this classic color for goalkeeper shirt. Before last
season when Liverpool F.C. used goalkeeper shirt green color was 2000-01 & 2001-02. In
left you can o see Liverpool goalkeepers dressing in goalkeeper shirt green color,
different seasons. |
Michael Yip has paid my attention, that on goalkeeper shirts which have been used
in a season 2005-06 is difference. This absence of some elements of design and as he them
named "Scale".
I think what home goalkeeper shirt without "Scales", Liverpool
goalkeepers main team start used in January 2006, Last good photo which I have, when
Liverpool goalkeepers main team used classic home goalkeeper shirt, this with match
Premier League versus Newcastle United (26.12.2005). Except two matches World Club Championship (15.12.2005 & 18.12.2005),
as how for this tournament was made special shirt.
Left photo with match Premier League versus Fulham
(22.10.2005).Right photo with match FA Cup versus Chelsea (22.04.2006). I red circle you
to see in what a difference, for an example for a home goalkeeper shirt, and more low for
an third goalkeeper shirt.
It above, home goalkeeper shirt with season 2004-05,
with "Scales" It below, third goalkeeper shirt (issue) with season
2005-06, without "Scales".
This last season when Liverpool played in shirt made firm Reebok. In first
Liverpool deal with firm Reebok in 1996 year. With next season Liverpool will play in kits
company of the manufacturer Adidas, again. First deal with Adidas was with 1985-1996.
How to distinguish a home goalkeeper shirt of a season 2004-05, from a home
goalkeeper shirt of a season 2005-06, very difficultly, but I now not know.
