In a season 1992-93 the design home shirt has changed. Liverpool used home shirt
two seasons, 1992-93 & 1993-94. In season 1993-94, this shirt was used how second home

season 1992-93, Liverpool used with home shirt different kits:

In 1992 Liverpool introduced the 100 years Centenary shirt as shown below, Although
fundamentally the shirt remained exactly the same as the previous shirt from 1991, there
were some subtle changes, Candy were replaced as sponsors by brewing giant Carlsberg, The
Liver bird badge was also replaced, This time with the new "Centenary" badge,
this incorporated the shankly gates on top of a shield crest with the words "You'll
never walk alone" written under the gates image, inside the main part of the shield
sported the words "100 Years" and "1892-1992" as can been seen in the
image at the bottom of this page, Another change was the placing of the Adidas badge,
previously it had sat at the bottom of the middle white stripe, it now was seated at the
bottom of the V-neck.
In 1992 the agreement with Italy firm Candy has ended four-year and Liverpool has
signed three-year the agreement with Denmark beers firm Carlsberg. The agreement with
Carlsberg will end in a season 1995-96 & agan with 2005-06 to 2011-12.
Sadly however, at the end of the season, HUNDREDS of player
issue shirts were sold through the club store as replicas. This shirt was with long sleeve
and fully embroidered (club crest and Adidas logo).
With season 1992-93 Division One change name on Premier League, for this
League matches was made patches Premier League which use on sleeves.
In Charity Shield (20.08.1983) match was used simple home shirt (photo in top left
page, Paul Stewart H 1.2), in shirt not was special embroidery to this match. The special
embroidery as was absent in matches Charity Shield 1971, 1974, 1979, 1980, 1982, 1983,
1984, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990 & 1992. Liverpool also played in 60's Charity Shield
matches, but and this matches used simple shirt, without special embroidery.
In one away match was used with home kits fourth socks. Why I name this socks
how fourth socks, simple I not know how named, this socks may be simple training socks. In
long history club, Liverpool before and after can in one match used socks, can say not

Interesting
fact. In many collections there are shirts of field players

trainer of Liverpool FC. Also shirts with player number 13 in England 70-80 years were
considered as number for spare goalkeepers (this ), as well as now in teams of a reserve
and youth. On a photo, it is possible to see, how Roy Evans deduces on a floor for
substitute Ronny Rosenthal, in an away match against Nottingham Forest (16.08.1992). |
Now (15.10.2016) I think what not as all was.

Interesting
fact. In season 1992-93? Liverpool played twoaway match
versus Crystal Palace. 1st, this was League Cup match (16.12.1992). 2nd, this was Premier
League (23.03.1993). To see different. Ian Rush (image 1) in League Cup match used away
shorts, but already in other Premier League match, Ian Rush (image 2) in second away
shorts, Why was used different shorts, I think difficult to fins anser. One of variants
answer this, in League Cup match, we lose. |

Interesting fact: First in
history Liverpool goalkeeper shirts, but for season 1982-93 was made 4 different for color
goalkeeper shirts, green, yellow, violet and blue. For Liverpool fans was made home and
away replica goalkeeper shirts. I not know not one third or fourth replica goalkeeper
shirts. Long time color number 1 for Liverpool goalkeeper shirts, was green. But not this
season, I write more, but next season when Liverpool goalkeepers used shirts green color
was only 1996-97. Main for used goalkeeper shirt in season 1992-93, was third goalkeeper
shirt (for my classification) silver-gray color, May be this color like David James, why
played 31 matches in season 1992-93. Bruce Grobbelaar only 10 matches, Mike Hooper - 15
matches.
Else what not understand me, why on Liverpool goalkeeper
shirts was used different for design player numbers.
