LFC and adidas start 10-year partnership and reveal
new home and away kits
1st August 2025

Liverpool FC legends past and present have come together to celebrate the launch of
the Reds' eagerly anticipated new home and away kits, designed by new club partner adidas.
The reuniting of Liverpool FC and adidas, two global sporting icons, was confirmed
back in March, and now supporters get to officially see and purchase the new kits for the
first time.
Current players – including Virgil van Dijk, Mohamed Salah, Curtis Jones and Ceri
Holland – are joined in an Alice in Wonderland-inspired launch video, alongside club
greats such as Sir Kenny Dalglish, Ian Rush, John Barnes, Robbie Fowler and Jamie
Carragher.
You can watch the exclusive dreamlike video below.
The home and away kits are available to purchase today on LFC's official online
store, the LFC Store app for delivery and in official LFC stores (UK and internationally).
This is the third time LFC has worn the three stripes during its illustrious
history – first from 1985 to 1996 and again from 2006 to 2012. Each period delivered its
own defining moments, including three top-flight titles and three FA Cup wins, accompanied
by memorable adidas kits.

The latest designs combine adidas' cutting-edge performance technology with a deep
respect for LFC's heritage, reimagining what it means to wear the Liver bird. Both jerseys
will be available in a short-sleeve and long-sleeve version, giving fans more choice than
ever before.
The home shirt features a clean all-red colourway, with crisp white adidas three
stripes down the sleeves and a modern crew neck collar.
Meanwhile, the away strip is a nod to classic LFC away shirts, featuring an
off-white base with bold black and red detailing. The Liver bird is framed within a
shield, a design inspired by the shape of Anfield's Main Stand from 1906.
On the reverse of both jerseys, the 97 emblem encased by the eternal flames sits
proudly at the nape of the neck.

If supporters would like to honour Diogo Jota by having 'Diogo J. 20' printed on
the back of their shirts in official club stores or via our official online store, as well
as adidas' in-store locations or online store (where regionally offered), all profits will
go to LFC Foundation, the club's official charity. The Foundation has committed to
creating a grassroots football programme in Diogo's name.
Ben Latty, chief commercial officer at LFC, said: "This is more than just the
launch of a new kit – it marks the beginning of a 10-year relationship for LFC and
adidas. Since announcing the partnership in March, there's been a huge sense of
anticipation and excitement. This first collection sets the tone for seasons to
come."
Sam Handy, GM at adidas football, said: "The return of adidas to Liverpool FC
is a momentous occasion for us. Seeing our iconic three stripes adorning Liverpool FC kits
again is something we're incredibly proud of.

"The home jersey is a true representation of the Liverpool DNA – classy and
understated – while the away jersey pays homage to the club's rich history. I speak on
behalf of everyone at adidas when I say this is just the start of an incredible journey
and we're extremely excited for what's to come."
The men's team will debut the new home kit for the pre-season double-header at
Anfield against Athletic Club on Monday and the new away kit in the FA Community Shield
with Crystal Palace on August 10.
Liverpool FC Women will wear the away kit for the first time in their pre-season
trip to Aston Villa on August 9 and the home strip the following weekend when Durham visit
the AXA Melwood Training Centre.

The men's team will debut the new home kit for the pre-season double-header at
Anfield against Athletic Club on Monday and the new away kit in the FA Community Shield
with Crystal Palace on August 10.
Liverpool FC Women will wear the away kit for the first time in their pre-season

Liverpool FC and adidas unveil 2025-26 third kit - heritage with a modern twist
9th September 2025
Liverpool FC and adidas have revealed the Reds’ new third kit for the 2025-26
season – a bold design that blends heritage with modern performance, to honour one of
the most iconic eras in the club’s history.
Available now at our online store, the LFC Store app and at club stores (find your
nearest store at store.liverpoolfc.com/stores), the new jersey boasts a striking sea-green
colourway inspired by classic LFC and adidas designs from the 1990s and early 2000s.
It also features the return of the adidas Originals Trefoil to an LFC kit for the
first time in almost 35 years and is available in three different versions: short-sleeve,
long-sleeve, as well as a newly created cropped version.
On the reverse of the jersey, the 97 emblem encased by the eternal flames sits
proudly at the nape of the neck.
Pristine white shorts feature sea-green detailing and the strip is completed by
sea-green socks. Adding to the heritage feel, the kit also brings back the classic LFC
crest from 1987 to 1992, uniting memories of the past with a modern look for today’s
teams.

Liverpool actor and Reds fan James Nelson-Joyce leads the stylistic launch video,
alongside Hugo Ekitike, Andy Robertson, Fuka Nagano, Trey Nyoni and Steve McManaman.
Created with homegrown talent in front of and behind the camera, it also features
familiar local figures including Dave McCabe from The Zutons, DJ Lauren Lo Sung and
influencers Yombo and The Scouse Ghetto Gourmet.
The drop also includes a standout all-black goalkeeper kit, extensive training
range, fashionable culture wear, hats and accessories, and a bold LFC Gazelle trainer.

The launch of the third kit follows the club’s record-breaking start to its new
10-year partnership with adidas, with more home and away kits sold in the first month
after release than ever before.
The club received orders from more than 150 countries and 70 per cent of total
purchases to date have been made via the club’s e-commerce platform.
Supporters can get their hands on the new third kit today at our online store, the
LFC Store app and at club stores (find your nearest store at
store.liverpoolfc.com/stores). The club is offering a 10 per cent discount off the price
of the third kit to All Red Members.
The Reds’ men’s team will debut the new third strip away at Burnley on Sunday,
while Liverpool FC Women will wear it for the first time when they meet Sheffield United
on November 22.

Liverpool FC unveils new home kit for 2024-25 –
pre-order now
2nd May 2024

Liverpool FC presents the brand-new 2024-25 home kit, a fresh remix of the
legendary pattern and print from 1984 – available to pre-order now.
The retro kit design, remixed for the modern game, features a chrome yellow pattern
of the club’s YNWA motto etched into the fabric of the shirt.
Its jersey has a unique collar with traditional yellow and red detailing, a nod to
the iconic collar worn by the ’84 team led by Joe Fagan, who lifted the European Cup in
Rome that year wearing this original kit. Both the shirt and shorts have yellow and white
side panelling.

Made with Dri-Fit ADV, which breathes with you, this advanced technology with
moisture-wicking material ensures faster evaporation to stay dry and comfortable from
kick-off to the final whistle.
The host city of the 1984 final is also the inspiration for the creative campaign
video and photography. Fusing fashion and football, the look pairs the new jersey with
premium Italian-inspired fashion pieces and elevated styling.
Set to The Humming Chorus from Giacomo Puccini’s opera Madame Butterfly
soundtrack, the setting conveys Italian classicism with tonal stucco-style backdrops,
marble textured flooring, pillars and ornate furniture. The new LFC pattern is embellished
within some customised, Italian-themed props.
The short film, which features a host of players from the Reds’ men’s and women’s
teams, can be viewed below.
Men’s captain Virgil van Dijk said: “I’m a big fan of our new kit for next
season and love the fact we’re bringing the retro vibe back. We are a club built on
history and the 1984 team was one of our most successful ever. I’m sure our fans will
appreciate the nod to those club legends.”
LFC Women vice-captain Taylor Hinds said: “It’s such a different look for the
new season, and we can’t wait to wear it. The retro inspiration always makes you feel a
part of the club’s history is with you as you play.”
The 2024-25 home kit is available to pre-order now at our official online store, in
official LFC stores (UK and internationally) and via the LFC Store app for delivery from
launch day, May 16.
In line with LFC’s The Red Way sustainability programme, the Nike kit is
sustainably made, with on-the-pitch and replica jerseys constructed with 100 per cent
recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles.
Plastic bottles are collected, cleaned and melted down to produce a high-quality
yarn for manufacturing, part of Nike’s wider Move to Zero initiative, with football
apparel leading the way in sustainability.
The club’s name and number style for the back of the shirt takes inspiration from
the city, with a contemporary take on Liverpool’s historic street signs. The product is
printed with water-based inks as a more sustainable option and will be worn for cup
competitions and friendlies.
Jerseys can also be personalised with Premier League or Barclays Women’s Super
League name and number. At launch, the 2023-24 squad lists will be used to print on the
new home jersey during the pre-order and launch phase. The full 2024-25 squad lists for
men’s and women’s teams will be confirmed ahead of the new season. Full T&Cs on
shirt printing are available here.
As with previous seasons, the club is offering a 10 per cent discount off the price
of the home shirt to all LFC Official Members and season ticket holders. This is also
available for UK key workers via Blue Light and Network and students via Student Beans.
More information on eligibility and how to redeem the discount can be found here.
