Liverpool FC unveils new home kit for 2024-25 –
pre-order now
2nd May 2024
Liverpool FC presents the brand-new 2024-25 home kit, a fresh remix of the
legendary pattern and print from 1984 – available to pre-order now.
The retro kit design, remixed for the modern game, features a chrome yellow pattern
of the club’s YNWA motto etched into the fabric of the shirt.
Its jersey has a unique collar with traditional yellow and red detailing, a nod to
the iconic collar worn by the ’84 team led by Joe Fagan, who lifted the European Cup in
Rome that year wearing this original kit. Both the shirt and shorts have yellow and white
side panelling.
Made with Dri-Fit ADV, which breathes with you, this advanced technology with
moisture-wicking material ensures faster evaporation to stay dry and comfortable from
kick-off to the final whistle.
The host city of the 1984 final is also the inspiration for the creative campaign
video and photography. Fusing fashion and football, the look pairs the new jersey with
premium Italian-inspired fashion pieces and elevated styling.
Set to The Humming Chorus from Giacomo Puccini’s opera Madame Butterfly
soundtrack, the setting conveys Italian classicism with tonal stucco-style backdrops,
marble textured flooring, pillars and ornate furniture. The new LFC pattern is embellished
within some customised, Italian-themed props.
The short film, which features a host of players from the Reds’ men’s and women’s
teams, can be viewed below.
Men’s captain Virgil van Dijk said: “I’m a big fan of our new kit for next
season and love the fact we’re bringing the retro vibe back. We are a club built on
history and the 1984 team was one of our most successful ever. I’m sure our fans will
appreciate the nod to those club legends.”
LFC Women vice-captain Taylor Hinds said: “It’s such a different look for the
new season, and we can’t wait to wear it. The retro inspiration always makes you feel a
part of the club’s history is with you as you play.”
The 2024-25 home kit is available to pre-order now at our official online store, in
official LFC stores (UK and internationally) and via the LFC Store app for delivery from
launch day, May 16.
In line with LFC’s The Red Way sustainability programme, the Nike kit is
sustainably made, with on-the-pitch and replica jerseys constructed with 100 per cent
recycled polyester fabric, which is made from recycled plastic bottles.
Plastic bottles are collected, cleaned and melted down to produce a high-quality
yarn for manufacturing, part of Nike’s wider Move to Zero initiative, with football
apparel leading the way in sustainability.
The club’s name and number style for the back of the shirt takes inspiration from
the city, with a contemporary take on Liverpool’s historic street signs. The product is
printed with water-based inks as a more sustainable option and will be worn for cup
competitions and friendlies.
Jerseys can also be personalised with Premier League or Barclays Women’s Super
League name and number. At launch, the 2023-24 squad lists will be used to print on the
new home jersey during the pre-order and launch phase. The full 2024-25 squad lists for
men’s and women’s teams will be confirmed ahead of the new season. Full T&Cs on
shirt printing are available here.
As with previous seasons, the club is offering a 10 per cent discount off the price
of the home shirt to all LFC Official Members and season ticket holders. This is also
available for UK key workers via Blue Light and Network and students via Student Beans.
More information on eligibility and how to redeem the discount can be found here.

Liverpool FC to support Royal British Legion's Poppy
Appeal
4th November 2024
Liverpool FC will show its support for the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal 2024
at upcoming fixtures – with shirts embellished with poppies to mark Remembrance Day.
The Reds will wear poppy shirts at the club's dedicated Remembrance fixtures
against Aston Villa on Saturday November 9 at Anfield and Chelsea Women at St Helens
Stadium on Sunday November 10.
The poppy jerseys, which are worn to remember the service and sacrifice of the
armed forces community, will be signed by all players and auctioned to raise funds for the
Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal.
A period of silence will be observed ahead of kick-off at both fixtures, where
current and ex-service personnel, standard bearers and a bugler will lead the period of
remembrance on the pitch.
Further support to the Poppy Appeal will be given through the LFC matchday
programme, perimeter LED boards and an LFC Royal British Legion poppy pin on sale on LFC's
online retail store.
Last year, the club raised more than Ј140,000 for the Royal British Legion Poppy
Appeal campaign, with the commemorative shirts worn at the Brentford and Leicester City
Women fixtures raising more than Ј48,000, and Ј92,000 raised from the sale of
dual-branded poppy pins.
Men's captain Virgil van Dijk said We wear the poppy shirt with pride and it's
important to the team to show their respect and thanks to the armed forces community.
The club will also proudly host the representatives from the Royal British Legion,
as well as veterans from LFC Foundation's military veterans programme, at Anfield and St
Helens Stadium to enjoy the games.
LFC Women skipper Niamh Fahey added The team is honoured to wear the emblem of the
poppy on their shirts to show their support on Remembrance Sunday.
The Royal British Legion relies on donations from the Poppy Appeal to help provide
vital support to the armed forces community and their families to ensure that their unique
contribution is never forgotten.
All of the proceeds raised from sales of the LFC Royal British Legion poppy pin
will go directly to the Royal British Legion. To purchase a club-branded pin badge and
show your support, please go here.

LFC and Standard Chartered to auction off
signed match-worn Futuremakers shirts
7th October 2024
Liverpool's men's and women's teams will swap their regular front-of-shirt logo for
a 'Futuremakers by Standard Chartered' design for their upcoming matches at Anfield –
and fans will get a chance to bid on the signed match-worn shirts.
'Futuremakers by Standard Chartered' is the main club partner's global initiative
that aims to empower underserved young people around the world and teach them skills to
improve their chances of getting a job or starting their own business.
For the past five seasons, LFC has swapped its regular front-of-shirt logo for the
Futuremakers design and donated the match-worn shirts for auction to raise awareness and
funds for the programme.
Liverpool FC Women will wear the Futuremakers shirts this Sunday when they face
Manchester City at Anfield. Tickets are still available and priced at just Ј10 for adults
and Ј4 for juniors. To purchase your tickets, please go here.
The men, meanwhile, will wear the jerseys on Sunday October 20 when they host
Chelsea in L4.
Following each respective match, the shirts will be signed by the players and go up
for auction where fans can bid on their chance to win a piece of Reds history. The
auctions will feature up to 11 signed match-worn shirts from both the men's and women's
teams – plus additional match-issued and bench-worn shirts – and be auctioned off on
the fundraising platform Charity Stars.
This year's campaign – titled 'Some swaps mean more' – taps into the player
ritual of shirt swapping. To support the campaign, LFC and Standard Chartered have created
exclusive videos featuring men's and women's players talking about swapping shirts, what
it means to play in the Futuremakers shirt, and more. You can watch both videos below.

New LFC 2024-25 third kit unveiled in celebration of
the women's game
27th August 2024
The Liverpool FC x Nike third kit for the 2024-25 season is here and available to
pre-order from today.
Released as part of the Nike 'Together We Rise' collection across the brand's club
football estate, the third kit celebrates the women's game and its acceleration in world
sport.
It is uniquely represented through a distinct vertical double Swoosh, which is
across the jersey, shorts and matching socks.
The iconic Swoosh denotes the wing of the Greek goddess Nike, and symbolises speed,
movement, power and motivation. This new detail will be worn by both the men's and women's
teams.
Each third kit is inspired by the club's unique story, distinct identity, culture
and diverse communities. LFC's shirt is 'rebellious by design' and a celebration of female
punk artists who pioneered a new sound in the city.
It fuses the iconic club colours with a loud mixed pattern in homage to the city's
fearless artists and features in parts the Liver bird feathers.
The white kit has enhanced comfort and fit with details of pure platinum, with
iconic club colours of global red and chrome yellow flashes finishing the shirt. The
jersey is matched with black shorts and white socks.
The shorts for the third kit are black, with white socks. The new goalkeeper third kit is
a strong green, which has already been worn by Alisson this season.
On the reverse of the jersey, the 97 emblem encased by the eternal flames sits
proudly at the nape of the neck in memory of those children, women and men who were
unlawfully killed as a result of the Hillsborough disaster.
Made with Dri-Fit ADV, Nike's pinnacle standard for performance apparel, they
leveraged the latest advanced body-mapping technology, 4D data and state-of-the-art
digital design tools to tune the material pixel by pixel, providing reinforcement,
mobility, breathability and venting exactly where it's needed most to help athletes stay
cool, dry, comfortable and focused.
The kit is available to pre-order now at our official online store, in official LFC
stores (UK and internationally) and via the LFC Store app.
The campaign video and creative imagery depicts 'generations of power', featuring
protagonists from the men's and women's games, as well as former Liverpool FC Women
players and a junior female grassroots footballer. It is a celebration of the past,
present and future of the women's game.
Current LFC Women players Taylor Hinds, Olivia Smith, Leanne Kiernan, Sophie Roman
Haug, Marie Hцbinger and Mia Enderby all feature. They are joined by men's players Andy
Robertson, Mohamed Salah, Alisson Becker, Ryan Gravenberch, Darwin Nunez and Dominik
Szoboszlai.
Hinds said: "I love the kit; I think it's different, especially with the
Swoosh and what it represents. It's also still got the Liverpool red in it, and I can't
wait to wear it."
Robertson added: "I really like it; I like the colour and the detail on the
shirt, especially with the Swoosh going up, which is a bit different. It's signifying the
rise of the women's game and we're a big part of it to try to help that."
The former players who helped shape the women's game at LFC and an important part
of the club's history are Natasha Dowie, Becky Easton, Gayle Formston and Julie Griffiths.
Dowie, club ambassador, commented: "It's really slick, it's fierce and I love
the energy of the kit. It's great to see more fans at games, the pitches, the stadiums –
it makes me really proud to have been one of the first to play professionally and to see
now that girls can have a dream to be a professional player."
Easton, part of Forever Reds, LFC's official former players association, added:
"Back in the '80s and '90s when I was playing, it was different. But to see the
development and the growth nowadays, it makes me very proud I was part of that
history."
When the kit is worn in European competitions by the men's team this season, it
will also feature the LFC Foundation patch on the reverse.
LFC Foundation, the club's official charity, provides life-changing opportunities
for young people and families both home and away.
The LFC Foundation patch can also be purchased for Ј5 and printed on the reverse
of the shirt, with proceeds supporting LFC Foundation's international programmes.
For more information about the work of the club's official charity, go here.
As with previous seasons, the club is offering a 10 per cent discount off the price
of the third kit to all LFC Official Members and season ticket holders, now including LFC
Women season ticket holders. This is also available for UK key workers via Blue Light and
Network and students via Student Beans. More information on eligibility and how to redeem
the discount can be found here.
A black warm-up top, platinum anthem jacket and alternative goalkeeper kit in green
spark, pine green and white will also feature the distinct vertical double Swoosh.
The kit – along with warm-up top and anthem jacket – will be on general sale
from September 3. The change strip will sit alongside this year's already launched home
and away kits to complete the 2024-25 line-up.
