Liverpool FC Foundation and People's Postcode Trust
21 August 2012
The affectionately entitled ‘beautiful game’ is one that prides itself on
bringing entire communities together, encouraging team spirit and promoting healthy
living.
Liverpool FC is leading the way in ensuring all local youngsters, particularly
those living with disabilities, enjoy and benefit from all that team sports has to offer.
Respect 4 All, a project pioneered by Liverpool FC Foundation encourages young
disabled people to broaden their horizons by taking part in sport. Launched in September
2008, Respect 4 All provides disability coaching four nights a week at two locations in
Liverpool and thanks to Ј40,000 awarded by People’s Postcode Trust, a charity funded
entirely by the players of People’s Postcode Lottery, this successful programme can
continue to offer free sessions.
“Football regardless of race, gender or ability, is a national passion and can
break through all perceived barriers”, comments Clara Govier at People’s Postcode
Trust, “and this project, while sport is at its core, also provides a chance for
families to come together, make friends and support each other.”
While the projects main focus is on football, a variety of sports will be on offer.
The sessions, that run during school term time, are particularly aimed at young people who
are visually impaired, physically disabled, or have severe learning difficulties and are
wheelchair users.
With over Ј20 million raised for charities so far by players of People’s
Postcode Lottery, this impressive project is one of over 800 projects funded by People’s
Postcode Trust in Great Britain. 40p from every Ј2 ticket supports good causes, making a
real difference in our players’ communities. To find out how you can win great prizes

Signed shirts in charity
auction
20th Nov 2012
Would you like to own a Liverpool shirt signed by your favourite players? This is
your chance as part of a charity auction in support of the Royal British Legion.
During the Reds' 1-1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on November 11, each
member of the team wore a jersey which had been embroidered with a poppy. |
After the game, every player signed the front of each shirt - all of which were
subsequently donated to the RBL - and you have the opportunity to purchase one.
Simply click the link below to take part in the auction, with 20 different shirts
to select from including Luis Suarez, Steven Gerrard, Jamie Carragher and Raheem Sterling.
The auction ends on November 26.
A similar initiative last year saw more than Ј20,000 raised for the Poppy Appeal,
a campaign which the Reds have a history of supporting.
For example, before the recent home fixture against Newcastle United, two local
servicing cadets - Bradley Walshe and James McDougall - were invited to pitchside with
large poppies and had photographs taken with Steven Gerrard.

The management of club claims that it appreciates and follows
traditions of club. But in away matches (vs Tottenham Hotspur, Queens Park Rangers) when
during last seasons Liverpool used home kits, now uses away or the third kits.
Following Warrior’s design direction of modern tradition -
the new kit is inspired by Liverpool F C’s Away Kit from 1900-1906 which featured the
yoke detail in recognition of sailors and the huge influence of the docks on the city at
the time.
For away shirt will used element design with Liverpool away shirt seasons 1900-06
(black-white photo team season 1905-06) and cigarettes card Richard Morris . Only was used
away shirt red color, now will used away shirt black color. On my look will better if was
used gamma colors with away shirt seasons 1900-06.

Designers Wariiors as "good" to do work, what for away match

necessary for this match, light on color shorts and socks. Sunderland used in this match
home shorts and socks, all black.
It is not strange, but the company Adidas in his final
seasons, produced alternative colour away and third shorts and socks. |

It is not strange, but the company Adidas in his final

I not know used U 21s (ex Reserves) and Youth team in season 2012-13, third shirt.
First in the history, Liverpool in away match versus Norwich C was used third kits,
usually Liverpool played in home kits.
In matches Europa League qualifier rounds used shirt without Europa League &
UEFA logo and writte RESPECT patches. Europa League & UEFA logo and writte RESPECT
patches only on shirt for match's Europa League main stage.
In 2012 Liverpool changed their kit manufacturer after a long association with
Adidas 1985 to 1996 & will again sign deal with 2006 to 2012. 19.01.2012 was signed 5
years deal (J25,000,000) with kit manufacturer Warrior Sports.
Delivering a bold design statement to the football world,
Warrior has unleashed the new 2012/13 Liverpool FC 3rd Kit.
With a striking graphic print set over a daring colour palette of Nightshade,
Orange and White, the new kit will be worn by Liverpool FC during their upcoming UEFA
Europa League campaign and selected Barclays Premier League games.
Inspiration behind the kit’s dominant nightshade colour stems from popular past
goalkeeper kits worn by David James during the 1994/95 and 1995/96 seasons, and Pepe Reina
in 2010/11.
Unique to Warrior’s 3rd design, the kit has been constructed with body mapped
mesh to help players stay cool under pressure. Powered by War-Tech, Warrior’s
revolutionary apparel system, the kit will keep external elements out while letting sweat
and moisture escape to help players stay dry and comfortable.
The main body of the 3rd shirt is underpinned with durable water resistant
technology, adding a layer of protection by rejecting external moisture while staying dry.
In addition, four-way stretch mesh fabric under the arms enables a full-range of movement
and increased air flow to help regulate temperature in key heat areas during games.
Orders made for EUROPA patches will receive a EUROPA patch on each arm.
Unfortunately, the new Respect patch is not available to retail.

How I think this big mistake
Warrior designer third shirt season 2012-13, as how color gamma for third shirt need white
or yellow color, not darkly violet May be soon will made other design third shirt. Only
once in history of Liverpool, used away shirt with other colors sleeves when all shirt.
This was in seasons 1993-95. (image of the collection Andy902) |

Interesting fact. And one more detail in occasion of the third shirt, is design of sleeves.
It is stylization which should remind Liverpool fans, a players Daniel Agger and Martin
Skrtel, which hands completely in tattoos. So designers Warrior have explained occurrences
of this figure. At the left image, Daniel congratulates the partner on defense (Martin
Skrtel), on the hammered goal in match League Cup Final (.02.2012), against Cardiff City. |

Liverpool FC is leading the way in ensuring all local youngsters, particularly
those living with disabilities, enjoy and benefit from all that team sports has to offer.
Respect 4 All, a project pioneered by Liverpool FC Foundation encourages young

To find out how you can win great prizes
and support charities, visit https://www.postcodelottery.co.uk/.

Liverpool's new home kit based on European
Cup-winning shirt of 1984
Thursday 2 May 2013 00.00 BST
• Liverpool's home kit for 2013-14 season draws on past glories
• 'It will remind the players of the club's success,' says Ian Rush
Liverpool have revealed their home kit for next season, basing it on the shirt worn
in 1983-84 season. Photograph: Publicity image
Liverpool have revealed their home kit for next season, basing it on the shirt worn
in 1983-84 when the club won a fourth European Cup with victory on penalties over Roma.
The kit, manufactured by Warrior, met with approval from two members of that
European Cup-winning side.
"I really like the shirt," Alan Kennedy said. "The stripe and collar
details resemble the shirt we wore during the cup final in 1984. The new shirt is very
light and I'm told the material will keep players cool, something we desperately needed
back when we were playing in the sweltering heat in Rome."
Ian Rush believes it will be "one for the fans" but also popular with the
players. "It'll remind them of the club's history of success and drive them even more
to bring that success back to the club," he said.
