Today (03.10.2015) I have e-mail with question - have replica
shirt with long sleeve in seasons 1993-84 & 1994-95. All we know what replica shirt
(home and away) was sold in seasons 1992-94 & 1994-95, in Liverpool F.C. shops only
with short sleeve.
Now I not very know which shirts played Liverpool Reserves and Youth teams in
seasons 1992-94 & 1994-95, players or replica. May be also this shirt was made for
presentations.
If you have any further information about this, please, contact us.
Difference between a player shirt and a replica
shirt, and as other features of a player shirt
Some text in down and photographies take with site: www.liverpoolkits.com.
1st image, a standard home replica shirt has rubber embossed
Adidas motif and club crest.
A genuine home player shirt (small Carlsberg version) has embroidered Adidas motif
and club crest.
2nd image, note there is NO circled-R (copyright registered mark) next to the words
Adidas Equipment on the small Carslberg version player shirt.
Last image, note there is a circled-R (copyright registered mark) next to the words
Adidas Equipment on the big Carslberg version player shirt.
1st image, back side a standard home replica shir. 2nd image

shirt.
So what is meant by big Carlsberg and what is meant by small
Carlsberg? A small Carlsberg version home player shirt has a same size Carlsberg sponsor
logo when placed inline with the replica shirt. As seen above, the left side is a standard
official replica shirt and the right side is the small Carlsberg version home player
shirt.

velvet felt-on material (on player shirt).
Right image, the names & numbers on the back side are
thin plastic-like felt-on material (on player shirt). |

As usual, Liverpool players shirts used in the domestic
competition has much bigger Carlsberg logo. When I place a replica shirt (above) in line
with the players shirt (below), the size difference of Carlsberg is very huge indeed.
Only ho you know half season 1993-94, Liverpool used player
shirt with small Carlsberg logo and need also it is necessary to pay attention to others
difference about which you have read through earlier, first of all on embroidered Adidas
logo and club crest.

Third players & replica shirt
Manufacturer: Adidas
Club sponsor: Carlsberg
Years worn: 1993-96
In this third shirt (big Carlsberg logo) Liverpool first played in away Premier
League match versus Sheffield United, 0-0, 26.12.1993, at Bramall Lane.
Replica shirt short sleeve price: J32,99 (the price is specified
in a year of made and sale of this shirt, 1994-95. I not sale what

BEWARE: Finding a genuine match worn shirt from this era is
extremely difficult. Despite the common misunderstanding, Adidas DID release long sleeve
replicas to the public. Furthermore, there was no simple ‘big verses little’ Carlsberg
comparison, and both shirts had embroidered Adidas logos. There are many shirts in this
style on eBay that claim to be match worn but these usually turn out to be long sleeve
replicas with names and numbers added. There are however a number of tiny differences that
can prove the authenticity of these shirts, but I will not post these online to avoid
fraudsters gaining some useful tips in their quest to rip off the public. If you cannot
distinguish a player shirt from a replica or a semifinished item, consult to Michael
Yip.
Difference between a player shirt and a replica
shirt, and as other features of a player shirt
Some text in down and photographies take with site: www.liverpoolkits.com.
Attention! It is very difficult to distinguish the third
player shirt from a replica shirt, the basic differences which were used in a home and
away player shirts from replica shirts, here do not operate. So will read through caution
below.
Now can write, what third shirt with: 1- the registered mark
"circle-R" on Adidas write, 2 - club crest has pure white flame from a white
torches, 3 - fabric is incorporated with "LIVERPOOL" word watermarks. This third
shirt with different, players shirt and hot have replicf shirt, if only they not fake.
The fourth difference is NOT noted by most collectors.
Top image, in standard player shirt's fabric is incorporated
with "LIVERPOOL" word watermarks; Note also that the midpoint of the Liverpool
crest aligns with the Trifolium of the Carlsberg logo beneath it and have the registered
mark "circle-R" on Adidas write, use on third shirt in season 1993-94.
Bottom image, in standard player shirt's fabric has no such
watermarks. Note also that the midpoint of the Liverpool crest aligns with the letter
"g" of the Carlsberg logo beneath it and without the registered mark
"circle-R" on Adidas write, use on third shirt in seasons 1994-95 & 1995-96.
Many thanks Michael Yip for given to me images and text.
Many collector thinks that the replica counter is exactly the
same as the genuine player shirt apart from no long sleeves version (this style is the
only commercially released shirt with the 27cm big Carlsberg sponsor). However, I am glad
to be prompted by Craig Mortimer that even if you get a short sleeved player shirt, it is
different from the replica.
I place the replica shirt inline with the player shirt on the right hand.
Left image, in standard player shirt's club crest has pure white flame from a white
torches, use on third shirt in season 1993-94.
Middle: Note that the player shirt's club crest is a bit shorter and smaller than
the player shirt's one. The words of {LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB" are bolded and
thicker, so do the words of "EST. 1892". The two candle stands (black crosses)
on the player shirt is slimmer though.
Right: Note that the replica shirt's club crest is a bit longer and bigger than the
player shirt's one. The words of "LIVERPOOL FOOTBALL CLUB" are less bolded and
slimmer, so do the words of "EST. 1892". The two candle stands (black crosses)
on the replica is bolder though.
Besides, the three Liverbird looks a bit different.
Last but never least, the background pattern of the shirt is displaced a bit upper
for the player shirt.
Let us look at the back side of the collar label.
Left: Replica shirt's collar label has bigger words.
Right: Player shirt's collar label has small words.
Also note that the washing instructions icons differ.
Let us look at
the collar label.
Left: Replica shirt's collar label has bigger words. We see the three blue Adidas
vertical stripes align with the words"BRAND WITH".
Right: Player shirt's collar label has smaller words. We see the three blue Adidas
vertical stripes align with the words "BRAND WITH" as well as partial portion of
the two words "THE".

velvet felt-on material (on player shirt).
Right image, the names & numbers on the back side are
thin plastic-like felt-on material (on player shirt). |
