Liverpool third kit 2016-17: Pictures LEAKED of horrendous green shirt
  24th Jan 2016

It is a good job that Jurgen Klopp lost his glasses at Norwich City yesterday because at least he won’t have to see these leaked pictures of Liverpool’s reported new third kit!

The rest of us aren’t so lucky. Football website Footy Headlines claims that Liverpool’s third-choice strip for next season will be a shade of luminous green that is known as “toxic”.

Here are a couple of pictures of the hideous shirt. We reckon it looks like the type of kit that rubbish five-a-side team design at your local league. What do you think?!

From author site. Why this color can will. Company New Balance also partner Celtic, Glasgow, in season 2015-16 this color was used for Celtic third kits (below).

Else one season cooperation with New Balance, and we will have away (third) shirt pink color, how was with Everton away shirt in season 2010-11.

Leaked: Liverpool’s rumored away & third kits for 2016-17
  30th Jan 2016

We recently brought you the first images of Liverpool’s rumoured new third kit for next season.

While we cannot confirm whether these images will indeed make it to production for the 2016-17, they provoked plenty of interest nevertheless.

Looking a little like the colour of Slimer from Ghostbusters, the rumoured Liverpool 3rd kit is an interesting shade of green.

Cyclists may decide to wear the kit when they are driving in pitch black conditions!

Incredibly, the name of the shade of green is apparently called ‘Toxic’.

Now a new set of images have been shared which suggest that the green kit will indeed be in action next season.

While the third kit may not be everyone’s cup of tea, the away kit should go down very well.

The kit is supposedly black and gold and it looks incredibly smart.

See the renderings of Liverpool’s rumoured new away and third kits for 2016-17 below..

  Liverpool 16-17 Away Kit Leaked
  June 9, 2016

Update: The first real pictures of the new Liverpool 16-17 away kit have been leaked, confirming the earlier sketch.

The new Liverpool 16-17 Away Kit introduces a classic design for the Reds, set to be released in summer 2016. It boasts the colors black and silver, similar to their 2011-12 away kit that was made by Adidas. Liverpool's 16-17 away kit was leaked by @FumlerRawk, who has a history of correctly predicting Liverpool's upcoming kits early over the last few seasons.

The new Liverpool 2016-17 Away Shirt combines the main color black with silver logos and applications, one of Liverpool's most renowned away kit colors. It has a unique constructed collar and features four red lines on each side of the shirt.

The new black and silver Liverpool 2016-2017 Away Uniform appears to feature no other remarkable details, although this could also be due to the (lack of) detail of the leaked sketch.

The Liverpool 2016-2017 Away Kit will be combined with black shorts and black socks, creating a stealth look for the famous club.

Revealed: Liverpool FC's brand new away kit for 2016-17
  16th June 2016

Liverpool FC and New Balance can today officially reveal the team’s 2016-17 away kit.

The strip – part of the ‘Made for Liverpool’ campaign, reflecting on what it means to be a Reds fan – is available to purchase online and in store now.

With a fitting tribute to the team that won the European Cup on that memorable night in Rome on the May 25, 1977, the jersey has been designed in black, red and silver – reminiscent of the colours of the matchday programme (left image) thousands of fans still cherish to this day.

Black was chosen as the base colour to create an imposing canvas for the flame red warning vents down either side of the torso. Silver trim has been detailed on the front, including the iconic Liver Bird crest, to commemorate the club’s first of five European Cup victories.

Reds captain Jordan Henderson said: “Everyone is aware of the history of this great club, both domestically and abroad. This latest away kit looks great and having the words of Bill Shankly on the kit reminds us of what Liverpool FC means, inspiring us every time we play away from Anfield.”

The kit has been developed using NB Dry technology, a moisture-wicking fabric that helps keep players cool and dry whilst wicking sweat from the body, making it fast drying. It also features a gradiated mesh to the back of the jersey, which allows for improved air movement around the body compared to traditional fabrics and is engineered into the construction of the fabric.

The shirt’s design has been developed using the latest heat bonding technology. It features body mapping mesh to key zonal areas of the shoulders, running the full length of the back into the lumber panel, and reinforced bonded seams down the side panels and shoulders to increase comfort and reduce friction compared to traditional fabric constructions. Laser-cut and bonded eyelets placed to the under arms further aid airflow around the body. The jersey is finished with a silver-tipped shaped crew neck collar.

Bill Shankly, one of Liverpool’s greatest ever managers, who guided the Reds to three First Division titles, two FA Cups, four Charity Shields and one UEFA Cup, has his famous quote ‘Liverpool was made for me and I was made for Liverpool’ referenced on the internal hem of the shirt.

To commemorate the tragic events of Hillsborough, the 96 emblem, encased by the eternal flames sits at the nape of the neck.

The kit is finished off with black shorts, accompanied by flame red detailing. The socks have built-in comfort zones while the foot-bed has been developed with polypropylene to help alleviate excess moisture when the foot makes contact with the boot.

The goalkeeper kit is constructed with engineered Flex fabric panels to offer a greater range of movement. These Flex zones are identified by contrast heat transfers. The impulse orange design with black shoulder Flex zones is complemented by orange shorts with black detailing and orange socks with black tipping.

Commenting on the kit, general manager of New Balance Football Richard Wright said: “Liverpool FC is historically England’s most successful team in Europe and this kit is a fitting tribute to that remarkable achievement. With the seam-free body mapping technology and NB Dry each player will be competing in a truly advanced and stylish kit.”
